About marco's kittens

Established in 2016 by a group if cat lovers, Marco's Kittens is a local non-profit organisation aiming to provide shelter to abandoned kittens till they have the chance to be adopted by suitable people.

Our vision is that every kitten will one day enjoy a healthy life in a happy home. Besides providing a home to abandoned cats, we hope to raise awareness of animals' welfare by educating the general public through free talks and workshops. We convey the messages about responsible pet ownership, as well as share with participants the cat keeping skills so current pet owners can have less frustration in having the cats. These also get more people ready to adopt kittens from us.

In 2017 we reached more than 3,000 people through 40 talks and workshops. Our education officers and volunteer speakers across the city, deliver messages to citizens from a range of background. In the same year, we received 63 kittens and have 59 of them adopted.
